71 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Thursday
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 71 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, the highest number in almost a week. Active cases also rose to 463, from 434 on Wednesday, but the number of people hospitalized dropped by seven to 27.

Waterloo region sees 28 COVID-19 cases Tuesday, lowest since November
Waterloo region saw 28 cases of COVID-19 reported on Tuesday. That s the lowest single-day number of cases since November. The region also reported one new death.

Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 28 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday the lowest single-day number of cases since November.
The day public health reported a day with cases in the 20s was Nov. 19 when the region reported 24 cases.
That brings the total number of cases in February to 70 and since last March to 9,502. Of those, 8,809 have been marked as resolved.
Several staff from the Waterloo Catholic District School Board took home 3D printers last spring to help make face shield parts for front-line health workers.
