Franklin Street Bar Asking for Help Identifying Wallet Thief
The owners of Franklin Street Tavern on Evansville s west side are asking for your help identifying a woman they suspect stole an employee s wallet then proceeded to go on a spending spree around town.
The bar posted the surveillance photos below on their Facebook page Monday night saying they believe the woman in the black tank top shirt and shorts in the photos reached over the bar while the bartender was busy with another customer, and took an employee s small black and white Kate Spade wallet around 4:20 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The post did not specify if the wallet belonged to the bartender or another employee. There was also no mention if the person in the blue shirt is believed to be associated with the alleged crime in any way, shape, or form.

EPD Seeking Shooting Suspect Believed to be Armed and Dangerous
The Evansville Police Department is asking for any information that may lead to the location of 21-year-old Biker Cox who they believe was involved in a robbery on Saturday (April 3rd, 2021) that resulted in the shooting death of one person.
According to a press release provided by EPD Public Information Officer, Nick Winsett, investigators determined Cox was involved in the shooting after questioning several individuals at a house on North Fulton Avenue connected to the incident over the weekend.
Three other individuals are already in custody in connection with the shooting that investigators say started as a planned robbery the victim was involved in. After speaking with the aforementioned individuals at the home on North Fulton, they determined Cox, along with 18-year-old Zaelin Fox, 22-year-old Kingston Southard, 24-year-old Dayvon Lang, and the victim, whose identity has not been released as of this writing, had

EPD Shares Photos of Vehicle Suspected of Multiple Trailer Thefts
The Evansville Police Department is asking for your help locating the owner of a vehicle they know for sure was involved in the theft of a trailer from a local business over the weekend, and my possibly be tied to two other thefts over the past few weeks.
EPD Public Information Officer, Sergeant Nick Winsett released the surveillance photos below to local media outlets late Tuesday morning. The photos were captured by cameras on the lot of Greer s Flooring America at the corner of North Green River and Boonville-New Harmony Roads (the former Risley s building) at an unspecified time the weekend of March 6th and 7th. The photos show what appears to be a black, or dark-colored, four-door pickup truck pulling onto the lot of Greer s Flooring before pulling away with the trailer attached. It is unknown if any photos showing a suspect hitching the trailer to the truck exist.
