Comparing Mistakes In Children s Books And The Bible
919 Words4 Pages
\ Mistakes. Imperfections. Accidents. These are all unavoidable human actions. Everyone makes them, and they are completely normal. However, there is a difference between accepting and apologizing for your mistake and being too arrogant to admit you were wrong. The real crime is committed when one is too prideful to accept their wrongdoing and fix their mistake. Arrogance and pride always lead to corruption and evil, as can be viewed in history, literature, and the Bible. And although some people believe that apologizing doesnât help anybody, that is incorrect. By apologizing, you are acknowledging your imperfections and showing that you are willing to repair the mistake. Being too prideful can harm others immensely, even if it wasnât intentional.
