MIAMI – Qatar Airways (QR) has connected more networks in Africa, rebuilding its reach to 23 destinations and offering more than 100 weekly flights.
Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said, “We are proud to be the leading international carrier connecting Africa with Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the US, offering more flexible travel options and a global network of flights that passengers, trade and business partners can rely on.”
Al Baker noted that by launching three new destinations in Africa with Abuja, Accra, and Luanda joining QR’s network last year, “we continue to demonstrate our commitment to the region by adding new routes and steadily increased frequencies across the continent.”
MIAMI – Eastern Airways (T3) is set to take over French routes previously served by Flybe (BE) with flights to Rennes-Bretagne and Nantes-Atlantique.
Rennes-Bretagne Airport (RNS) confirms that flights from the British airline to/from Southampton (SOU) would resume as of April 29 with a three times weekly schedule on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Flights are set to leave Southampton at 11:15 to arrive in Rennes-Bretagne at 13:30. Return flights departing Rennes at 14:10 and arriving in Southampton at 14:25, all local times.

Nantes-Atlantique Flights
As announced by T3, flights to/from Nantes-Atlantique (NTE) are set to resume on Friday, April 30. Confirmation is not yet available on the Nantes Airport website.
The January 26, Brussels Charleroi-Pointe-à-Pitre-Fort-de-France-Brussels Charleroi flight will be operated on schedule.
The flights on January 29-30 will be grouped on a single date on the 29th. These two flights will then be combined into a single route, as per the detailed timetable below:

Suspended Flights
For flights suspended from January 30 to March 1. passengers for that period can postpone their travel free of charge to a later date and under the same conditions or be refunded. Passengers with a scheduled return flight to Belgium or the French West Indies after January 30 can be redirected via another airline.
