Blonde on Blonde was Dylan s seventh album and his first two-LP set. It contained Dylan classics like “I Want You,” Stuck Inside of a Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again, “Just Like A Woman,” and the Dylan standard “Rainy Day Women No. 12 & 35.” Dylan celebrated the anniversary with a pair of Instagram posts, saying the album was last of the electric trilogy following  Bringing it All BackHome and  Highway 61 Revisited.

Joni did the interview via Zoom from her home. The interview was part of Davis’ rescheduled virtual ‘Grammy Gala. ”Clive has also had his own health issues, being recently diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. The two musical icons discussed how Joni got started songwriting, including the writing of the classic “Both Sides Now. ”They also discussed her earliest “fantasy”-based songs and contrasted those with her more personal and confessional type songs. Joni talked about how she was told repeatedly that her songs were simply too personal to cover. Joni went on to say that it was “just humanness” that she was “trying to describe” with those songs.
