Elvis Presley is coming to fans in the form of a graphic novel. ‘Elvis: The Graphic Novel’ will be released by Z2 comics later this year.
The graphic novel will feature Elvis’ career from its beginnings in Memphis all the way through The King’s rise to stardom. It’ll touch on the good and bad things for Elvis.
Scenes of Elvis as a young boy at a record store were posted as a preview for fans last Friday. The preview also featured images of Elvis’ first performance at a high school talent show.

Rick Astley’s home in Surrey, England was recently broken in to and the 80’s star had his collection of 80’s guitars stolen.
Rick says the instruments had a lot of sentimental value. He used them in his first global tours after his breakthrough hit “Never Gonna Give You Up” made him a household name.
Astley told British podcaster
Tom Watson, They had a lot of memories. They’d been around the world. Rationalizing the loss, he adds, So, I’ve kind of detached myself from the prize possession thing of owning guitars any more. Because you don’t know whether you’re going to own them forever anyway. (

Queen is certainly one of the biggest rock and roll bands of all time. The history of the band could’ve been had

Brian May and Roger Taylor recently told
Classic Rock magazine about offers they had to jump ship. Taylor was recruited by
Genesis, and May got an offer from the Los Angeles band
Sparks.
Roger was invited to a studio back in the 70’s to hear Genesis. He then went to see the band at a pub, and says he [got] the impression that’s what they wanted, because their drummer had left. They’re all lovely people, but I didn’t really get the music, to be honest. It was a bit too prog[ressive] for me.

Paul Simon is the latest musical icon to sell his song catalog. The legendary songwriter has sold the rights to his catalog to Sony Music.
Simon created iconic songs like “Bridge Over Troubled Water, “The Sound of Silence” and so many more. Paul said, I began my career at Columbia/Sony Records and it feels like a natural extension to be working with the Publishing side as well.”
