Logar Bombing Condemned as ‘Crime against Humanity’ The deadly truck bomb attack that targeted a guest house in Logar province on Friday evening was widely condemned as a crime against humanity and a terrorist attack against the people of Afghanistan. The Presidential Palace said the “terrorist attack” targeted “innocent people” including students who were seeking to attend university entrance exams in the province. Calling it a crime against humanity, the Afghan government blamed the Taliban for the bombing. The group has not commented on the attack so far. Abdullah Abdullah, head of the High Council for National Reconciliation, also condemned the blast and called it “a cowardly terrorist attack against Afghan civilians.”
