Sunday will feature the seventh of the Arkansas Razorback basketball team’s eight-game home stand. The Hogs will welcome in Oral Roberts University (ORU) to Fayetteville from Tulsa.
Arkansas is 6-0 on the season. The Razorbacks’ last game was eight days ago, when they picked up a 25-point win over UCA. ORU has a record of 3-4. The Golden Eagles suffered a 14-point loss at Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Tip-off at Bud Walton Arena is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday’s game can be seen on the SEC Network.

County board to consider new community development director

EDWARDSVILLE The Madison County Board is expected to vote Wednesday on a new community development director, a former aide for U.S. Rep. Mike Bost.
Dave Tanzyus of Collinsville would replace Trudy Bodenbach who has occupied the position for three years. Bodenbach replaced Kristen Poshard, who was terminated for failing to show up for work for several months.
Madison County Board Chairman Kurt Prenzler declined to comment on Bodenbach’s departure.
Tanzyus has nearly 30 years of experience at all levels ofr government and small business, according to a release from the Madison County Board office.
