BUCKS COUNTY, PA With both new COVID-19 infections and vaccine supplies increasing in Bucks County, county officials say the opening of their fifth mass vaccination site this week couldn t have come a better time.
A limited opening of the former Giant grocery store in the Warwick Square shopping center on York Road began Monday, operating on an appointment-only basis. It is the county s largest site to date, officials said.
The Warwick Square location is one of five sites run through the county s partnership with AMI Expeditionary Healthcare. Three clinics have operated since Feb. 16 at the Bucks County Community College campuses in Bristol, Newtown and Perkasie, and the fourth site, at the former H&M store in the Neshaminy Mall, opened March 13.
