Hongqi
Few details have been released, but we can tell you that Hongqi is claiming a 0-62 mph time of just 1.9 seconds and a blistering top speed of over 250 mph. As a plug-in hybrid, it can also run purely on electricity, which Hongqi says it will do for around 25 miles. Sure, that s not a huge range, but just look at it! Designed by Walter de Silva, the former design boss at Volkswagen Group, it s absolutely gorgeous. But whether we ll see the S9 on American roads is yet to be determined. There s a good chance we will though, as this car has been developed under the Silk-FAW joint venture that aims to focus on cars meant for global markets.
