New Delhi: The IPO of Suryoday Small Finance Bank will open on Wednesday. The IPO comprises fresh issuance of 81,50,000 equity shares and an offer for sale of up to 1,09,43,070 equity shares by existing shareholders.
The small finance bank has proposed to utilise proceeds from the fresh issue towards augmenting its Tier-1 capital base to meet future capital requirements. Suryoday Small Finance Bank on Tuesday raised a little over Rs 170 crore from anchor investors ahead of an initial share-sale, which will open for public subscription on Wednesday.

SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd witnessed volume of 541.55 lakh shares by 10:48 IST on BSE, a 353.98 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.53 lakh shares. The stock dropped 1.57% to Rs.925.25. Volumes stood at 1.37 lakh shares in the last session.
Sobha Ltd clocked volume of 4.48 lakh shares by 10:48 IST on BSE, a 22.82 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 19638 shares. The stock gained 1.23% to Rs.452.35. Volumes stood at 5388 shares in the last session.
Financials stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Finance index rising 96.61 points or 1.26% at 7750.89 at 09:48 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE Finance index, Geojit Financial Services Ltd (up 7.64%), Centrum Capital Ltd (up 5.86%),Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (up 5.75%),IFCI Ltd (up 5.56%),Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd (up 5.56%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Central Bank of India (up 4.85%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd (up 4.11%), Aditya Birla Money Ltd (up 3.66%), Indian Overseas Bank (up 2.84%), and AU Small Finance Bank Ltd (up 2.75%). On the other hand, Bank of India (down 1.84%), AAVAS Financiers Ltd (down 1.8%), and CSB Bank Ltd (down 1.44%) moved lower.

On Tuesday Indian equity benchmarks made a gap-up opening despite mixed global cues. Markets are trading firm in early deals with notable gains on the back of buying in Basic Materials, Consumer Durables and Bankex. In the afternoon session, Indian equity benchmarks trim some of their initial gains, but managed to keep their head above neutral line. Both Sensex and Nifty are trading around 50,976 and 15,084 levels.
Asian equity benchmarks are trading mixed on Tuesday, with the lackluster cues from Wall Street overnight amid concerns that new covid- relief would heighten inflation while soaring bond yields could hurt high-growth companies reliant on easy borrowing.
