Episode Description
The symptoms of ADHD often lead to behavior problems that make parenting very difficult. Our children and teens sometimes lie and throw tantrums. They can be defiant and aggressive, forgetful and disorganized. Typical parenting approaches don’t seem to work, leaving us frustrated and exhausted. How do we help our children and adolescents change these difficult behaviors so they can more fully realize their sweet and creative sides? How can we help to boost their self-esteem and also our own joy of parenting?

The Professional Ski Instructor Association/American Association of Snowboard Instructor (PSIA/AASI) recently presented Pajarito Mountain General Manager Tom Long with the Distinguished Service Award for his many contributions to ski teaching. Long recently attended a ceremony in Breckenridge, Colo. to receive his award.
Long has been working in the ski industry since 1966, and has had a significant impact on the development of ski curriculum across the nation. His accomplishments include helping develop the PSIA/AASI three-tiered ski and snowboard instructor certification program across the country.

In a ski lodge basement at Sugarloaf Mountain, Maine, the contents of Natalie Rines Terry’s locker sit exactly as they were left last spring after she passed away from natural causes, on April 22, 2020, at 96 years old.
