Authorities served eight search warrants in Frederick and Washington counties, seized drugs, weapons and $23,000 in cash and arrested two Washington County residents Tuesday. The warrants were served at about 4 a.m. Tuesday by members of the Frederick High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area group. The group was assisted by SWAT teams from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Frederick Police Department, Maryland State Police, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Police Department, according to a news release from the Frederick County Sheriff s Office. Police arrested Mark Linn Randolph, 48, and Elizabeth Jenine Snyder, 40, both of Washington County. Randolph has been charged with possession of cocaine and PCP, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and PCP, and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, police reported.
