The state Department of Justice said Michael Leinen, 76, was last seen in Fairmount, North Dakota, at around 7 p.m. on the Fourth of July. Officials said he was leaving 179th Ave S/E in his white 2005 GMC Yukon while pulling a 12-foot open trailer with wood sides. Leinen was headed to his home address on CTY TK P in West Bend and has not yet arrived. Family members last heard from Leinen at around 9 a.m. Monday. At the time, Leinen said he was lost and traveling westbound on Interstate-90. His family believes his phone’s battery died, as he has not answered his phone.
