Troopers investigating damage to Hood Canal Bridge as hit-and-run KIRO 7 News Staff © WSDOT Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating after a driver struck and damaged a portion of the Hood Canal Bridge and then fled. This occurred sometime overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. The Washington State Department of Transportation said it was forced to temporarily close State Route 104 to make repairs. Troopers are asking anyone with information regarding the collision to call 360-473-3000 and then select option 1. The collision remains under investigation. #WSP troopers are investigating this as a hit-and-run collision that occurred sometime overnight or early this morning in the Hood Canal Bridge.
