Vaska Theatre Drive In Double Feature Fundraiser Is This Weekend!

The Vaska is the oldest and longest running movie theatre in Lawton, Fort Sill. It opened all the way back in 1948 and is still going strong. I couldn t tell you how many movies I ve seen there from the time I was a kid to today. It s a big part of our community, our city s history and a Lawton landmark for sure. The Vaska is raising funds to paint the tower and replace all the neon lightning. They d also like to purchase a search light that will be attached to the top of the tower similar to how it was back when it first opened up. If you haven t been
