She has interviewed more than a thousand victims many of them more than once.
“We’d bring them in one door, interview them, collect our evidence and then shove them out the back door with no support,” says Morrison. “Every time, my brain said, ‘This isn’t right.’”

Three people from Toronto are facing restricted and prohibited weapons charges in Wikwemikong following an incident on Jan. 5.
In the early morning, members of the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service responded to a call for service after it was reported that individuals were in possession of a firearm.

As a result of the investigation, police seized more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine, cash, a restricted handgun, and a prohibited weapon.
