An Indigenous man suffered a suspected stroke two days before he died in his Melbourne prison cell last month.
Michael Suckling was found unresponsive in his cell on the morning of March 7 while in custody at Ravenhall Correctional Centre.

The 41-year-old had been in custody since January 2018 after he was charged with culpable driving causing death relating to a car crash in Castlemaine. He was later sentenced to 10 years and three months in prison.
