Laura Mills, operations director for The Ivy in Leeds, said that while she’s ‘all about’ the new desserts, there’s something on the menu to capture everyone’s heart this summer.
She told the YEP: “We’re excited to get back to doing what we love and people are excited to come back out to us because everyone wants some positivity now.
“We’ve teamed up the menu to capture the hearts of what people are coming and looking for as they do get back out there - and it’s all about summer and staycations at the moment so our menu reflects that.
Burnham-On-Sea Food & Drink Festival set to return to town centre on May 29th
The countdown has begun to Burnham-On-Sea’s Food & Drink Festival, which returns to the town centre on Saturday 29th May.
eat:Burnham will see over 80 distanced stalls set up in the town centre featuring produce from across the region.
Organised by Burnham’s Bev and Milner Simonds, they say the whole market will be in the open air and it will have measures in place to minimise the risk of Covid transmission.
Bev says: “We know that weekend shindigs, days out and socialising have all been turned on their heads over the past year with plans disrupted and many regular events cancelled.”

Homebuyers are scrambling for houses in Britain’s latest property hotspot – on the tip of the Wirral peninsula.
The Merseyside town of Wallasey has over the past year recorded a bigger rise in asking prices than any town or city in Britain, according to the listings site Rightmove. And it’s family homes with gardens – a popular choice during lockdown – that have become must-have assets.
