By Victoria Gray Writer Residents who consented at Iroquois Lodge Nursing Home have all had COVID-19 vaccinations, but with every municipality scrambling for vaccines after the federal government announced shipment reductions, there is no word on when Six Nations may receive more. All staff members who consented have also received the vaccine, some chose not to due to personal choice, and Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) is urging community members to continue following public safety measures in a press release issues Tuesday. Residents have received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, while staff received the Pfizer vaccine and staff second doses are scheduled.
