WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (TNN) - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District confirmed one new death and 136 new COVID-19 cases in Wichita County on Friday. There were also 172 new recoveries.
There are now a total of 9,322 cases in Wichita County, with 2,639 of them still being active.
There have been 6,504 total recoveries, 45,028 negative tests and 179 deaths.
There are currently 2,548 patients recovering at home while 91 are in the hospital. There are currently 21 patients in critical condition.

The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District reported one COVID-related death Friday, Case 6,928 (70 - 79).
They reported 136 new COVID-19 cases, 91 hospitalizations and 172 recoveries.
Of the hospitalizations, 70 are in stable condition and 21 are in critical condition.
The health district will have daily updates Monday, Dec. 21, Tuesday, Dec. 22, and Wednesday, Dec. 23, only next week. Regular updates will resume Monday, Dec. 28.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Wichita County, flu cases have seemed to take a backseat.
According to state surveillances, flu cases have decreased in both Wichita County and across the entire state of Texas.
“Wearing a masks washing our hands frequently social distancing whether those actions are preventing the spread of flu or whether we’re just having a mild flu season,” said Lou Kreidler, Wichita County Public Health District Director.

WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (TNN) - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District confirmed three new deaths and 148 new COVID-19 cases in Wichita County on Wednesday. There were also 89 new recoveries.
There are now a total of 9,085 cases in Wichita County, with 2,663 of them still being active.
There have been 6,249 total recoveries, 44,082 negative tests and 173 deaths.
There are currently 2,569 patients recovering at home while 94 are in the hospital. There are currently 25 patients in critical condition.

WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (TNN) - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District confirmed two new deaths and 142 new COVID-19 cases in Wichita County on Tuesday. There were also 154 new recoveries.
There are now a total of 8,937 cases in Wichita County, with 2,607 of them still being active.
There have been 6,160 total recoveries, 43,647 negative tests and 170 deaths.
There are currently 2,512 patients recovering at home while 95 are in the hospital. There are currently 24 patients in critical condition.
