But Daniels supports victims in many ways besides in the courtroom.
There was the time the parents of a child victim in a sexual assault case feared the person accused of the crime would flee the state and slip away from justice.
Daniels turned to a prosecutor with the parents concerns.
“The prosecutor immediately went to put conditions of bond on the defendant, she said.
The parents testified at a hearing, and a judge granted conditions stipulating the defendant couldn t leave the state and can t leave the county without permission, Daniels said. That was a win, and so they were very grateful, she said. “Even though they have to wait for trial, that gave them a sigh of relief.

Watts is accused of being drunk when he wrecked his pickup in a one-vehicle rollover Feb. 18 near Electra, according to allegations in court records.

On March 31, investigators with the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office Drug Enforcement Division executed a narcotics search warrant at an apartment in the 3200 block of Maplewood Avenue.
While waiting on the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Unit (SRU) to arrive, the investigators saw a man later identified as Xavier D’Juan King make multiple trips from the apartment to vehicles that arrived in the parking lot.
King would contact the drivers, conduct hand to hand exchanges and return to the apartment. The SRU officers went into the apartment and detained Kynedric Deshun Jackson and King.

Ayala admitted to using marijuana four times, did not maintain a job, went to Bowie without a travel permit and did not pay a $750 fine, court costs and fees, according to court filings.
