Donna Diseker made 1,000 macarons for her daughter’s wedding in 2019, and by March 16 decided to open her business, Crazy Macaroon Lady, selling the sweet confections in oh so very many flavors.
Last Saturday the Henrietta resident set up in the Downtown Wichita Falls Farmers Market for the first time and said she had a blast. She and her husband Jim make macarons in all flavors and colors for events ranging from birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations and just hanging out at the Market.
Diseker’s favorite macaron flavors include, but are not limited to, Birthday Cake, Bananas Foster, Lemon, Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Coconut and Pistachio. Sometimes, she repeats flavors and other times she creates new ones.
