As COVID-19 continues to present challenges on a global scale in 2021, the Bay of Quinte region is focusing on growth and opportunities to help the economy recover from the pandemic.

On Thursday, Loyalist College President and CEO Ann Marie Vaughan was excited to announce a new partnership with Siemens Canada to bring prospective students new experiential learning opportunities.
This partnership between Siemens Canada and Loyalist College will match skills development with industrial needs as the Bay of Quinte region industries continue to grow.

Loyalist College announced recently that Elizabeth Lancaster has been appointed Vice-President, People and Culture, effective January 11, 2021.
In this newly created position, Lancaster will provide strategic leadership to all college organizational development, human resources, and employee relations services and functions, including organizational design, employee engagement, and occupational health and safety.

Loyalist College will be welcoming a new vice-president in the new year.
The College has appointed Elizabeth Lancaster to be the new Vice-President, People and Culture.
She will start the new brand new position on January 11th.
The College noted in a press release that she will “provide strategic leadership to all College organizational development, human resources, and employee relations services and functions, including organizational design, employee engagement, and occupational health and safety.”
Lancaster worked as a producer and director for CTV News in Toronto, she then moved on to work at Canadian Tire and CBC.
She is a founding partner of a consulting firm, Blue Dot Strategy.
