Contributed photo Published: 7/16/2021 4:44:13 PM Modified: 7/16/2021 4:44:20 PM ATHOL Thirteen-year-old Ally Belliveau of Athol wants the project she has labored on to draw individuals and families into the outdoors, to get them to appreciate nature overall, and to educate them as to the variety of bird species to be found in the North Quabbin area. The youngster is in the process of building birdhouses that will be placed along a trail at a local tree farm.

Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church will host a cornhole tournament and picnic at 1 p.m. on July 18. Suggested donation is $15 per person, or picnic only $5.
