Azerbaijan starts preparation for Kharybulbul festival, Days of Vagif s Poetry in Shusha

Politics 21 January 2021, 11:43 236 Azerbaijan has started preparatory activities on the ‘Kharybulbul’ festival and ‘Days of the Poetry of Vagif (famous Azerbaijani poet of 18th century)’ in the liberated (during the 44-day war from late Sept. through early Nov.2020 from Armenian occupation) Shusha city, said the Minister of Culture Anar Karimov, Trend reports. Karimov made the remark during the meeting with the delegations of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Council of Cooperation of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council), and the Foundation of the Turkic Peoples and Turkic Culture. In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to reconstruction work in Azerbaijan s liberated lands, providing employment for people who will live there. Ozturk noted that the organization led by him is ready to provide support for restoration work in the liberated lands, and the visit is aimed at discussing these issues with the relevant structures of Azerbaijan.

Pakistan to help rebuild Azerbaijan’s newly liberated areas Top Story January 15, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday assured Azerbaijan of its support for rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the newly liberated territories of the country. According to a Foreign Office press release, the bilateral ties were discussed in “extensive talks” between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his visiting Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov here on Wednesday, following the conclusion of 2nd Trilateral Meeting of Pakistan-Turkey and Azerbaijan. Qureshi underlined the exceptional quality of Pakistan-Azerbaijan political ties and underscored the importance of building a stronger economic relationship. The two sides reaffirmed the resolve to comprehensively upgrade cooperation in the political, security, trade and economic, energy, connectivity, education and cultural arenas.
