Bird Canada e-scooters popped up all over central Windsor over the weekend, and they were quickly put to use. After downloading the app the user can find a bike, which costs a $1.15 unlocking fee to start your trip, then 35 cents per minute. When done the rider can leave the scooter where it is. A Bird Canada team will pick it up at night and redistribute the e-scooters to ensure proper coverage. They’re brought back to a central location for recharging.
