Windsor Police Make Drug Bust

An investigation by the Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns Unit has resulted in numerous charges against a Windsor woman and the seizure of illicit drugs. Police say that in May of 2021, investigators launched an investigation involving the suspected trafficking of illicit drugs in the City of Windsor. During the investigation, an adult female suspect and an involved residence were identified. Judicial authorization to search the involved residence was applied for and granted. Five adults were located inside the residence, including the suspect, who was arrested without incident.

Four charged following Windsor Police Service DIGS Unit firearm investigation

  WINDSOR, ONT. A Windsor man along with three others from the Greater Toronto Area are facing multiple charges after police seized a firearm and a loaded magazine during a search warrant. The Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns (DIGS) unit seized the weapons during a search warrant executed Tuesday night after patrol officers responded to a report of two men, one believed to be in possession of a gun, in the 200 block of Wyandotte Street East. Police identified the men who were located and arrested without incident. A residence was also identified as being involved and was held pending a search warrant application.

  WINDSOR, ONT. Windsor police have charged two women after an investigation into the suspected trafficking of illicit drugs. The Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit launched the investigation earlier this month. During the course of the investigation, police identified a suspect and involved residence. Police received judicial authorization to search the residence located on Marlin Court. On Wednesday, with the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit (ESU), the search warrant was executed and a female suspect was found inside the residence. Police say they arrested the suspect without incident and found she was in possession of illicit drugs.
