OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) Those who attend the Oshkosh Farmers Market on Saturday will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Winnebago County Health Department and Oshkosh Area School District are partnering to offer a free vaccination clinic from 9 a.m.-noon at the Time Community Theater, 445 N. Main St. in Oshkosh.
“Over the past few weeks, we have been seeing a steep increase in our case rate as the Delta variant surges across the nation,” said Doug Gieryn, director/health officer for the Winnebago County Health Department, in a news release. “To ensure a safe learning environment for our students and school staff, we encourage everyone that is eligible to get vaccinated to do so. Students that are 12 years and older, including college students, should begin their vaccination series now to be fully protected by the start of school.
