SINGAPORE – UK – WORLDWIDE – In what has without doubt been the most challenging of years for the seafaring community, comes the call for those involved to propose individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to improving the welfare of seafarers.
Leading international maritime welfare charity The Mission to Seafarers has opened nominations for the annual Singapore Awards. At a time when many of the shipboard community are experiencing extreme isolation, travel restrictions, mental health challenges and other hardships, The Mission is recognising those who have gone above and beyond to help seafarers in their time of need.
The Mission To Seafarers Calls For Nominations For 2021 Singapore Seafarers’ Awards
The Mission to Seafarers, a leading international seafarer welfare charity, has opened nominations for the annual Singapore Awards. The charity is calling for the maritime community to propose individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to improving the welfare of seafarers.
Following one of the most challenging years for seafarers, where many are experiencing extreme isolation, travel restrictions, mental health challenges and other hardships, The Mission is recognising those who have gone above and beyond to help seafarers in their time of need.
This year’s Singapore Seafarers’ Awards will now take place on 5th November 2021 (after being moved from 21st May) and all proceeds from the event will go to The Mission to Seafarers Singapore.
