The firm that Mumbai civic body had shortlisted for a hospital contract had allegedly been blacklisted for two years by a medical institute in Chandigarh in 2019. The municipal corporation has sought details about the firm from the Chandigarh institute.  MDD Medical Systems (India) Pvt Ltd company has been blacklisted by the institute, BMC has asked the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) institute about the details. The firm has been shortlisted by Mumbai civic body to repair and maintain medical gas pipelines at the HBT Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari this year.
