American Heart Association’s Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk
LAGRANGE, NY, April 6, 2021 – Food Truck Fridays are headed back to the Hudson Valley this spring. The first in the series, featuring free to-go lunches from Party of Two Catering, will take place at the grand opening of Tompkins Mahopac Bank’s new LaGrange location at 673 Freedom Plains Road, Poughkeepsie on Friday, April 23. The event, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m., is open to the public. It will feature a ribbon cutting at noon from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as remarks from the bank’s leadership, elected officials and dignitaries, and a donation to the American Heart Association’s Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk.

CHRISM MASS: The Diocese of Youngstown will hold the annual Chrism Mass 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Columba Cathedral. Due to the pandemic restrictions and limited seating, the Chrism Mass is closed to the public. Attendance is by invitation only. The Mass will be livestreamed at www.doy.org/Media/CathedralLiveStream. The Mass will be rebroadcast 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday on the Ecumenical Television Channel through the services of CTNY.
EGG HUNT: Austintown Baptist Church, 1180 S. Raccoon Road, will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. today.
EGG HUNT: Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, Youngstown, will host an outdoor egg hunt for children up to sixth grade at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. Palm Sunday worship.
