My name is Jendaya and I am interning at ETV Carolinas this semester as a production intern. I am a Mass Communication major at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. My goal is to become a Multimedia Journalist and work in production at a news station. After finishing week two of my internship, I have spent the week working on blogs and on the Made Here digital series, which gives people an insight into small businesses in the Carolinas.
Last week I was able to write a blog on upcoming social distancing approved events in York County. This blog allows people in the York County area to know about events in Rock Hill or Fort Mill that they can safely attend during COVID-19. Additionally, I was able to secure an interview with Anne Close Springs Greenway, a business in Fort Mill (S.C), that hosts Winter Yoga at the Dairy Barn on Tuesdays, for a segment of Made Here.
