The data shows a similar pattern as reported by other jurisdictions African, Filipino, Latin American, North American Indigenous and South Asian communities are disproportionately affected by COVID-19 infections.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.9 per cent provincially and three per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on March 1, 2021, 35 new cases of the virus have been identified. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 31,894.
