The agreed-upon amendments to the master trust agreement will relieve WAA of its obligations to satisfy certain rate covenants that it had been in default of.
The WAA has about $580 million worth of outstanding bonds in four series, some of them not due until 2047, most of which were taken on to build the new terminal building which opened in 2011.
