Picture: SOPHIE RALULU/FILE UNIVERSITY of the South Pacific pro-chancellor Winston Thompson said he was not involved in removing USP Student Association (USPSA) chair and president Joseph Sua. Speaking to The Fiji Times yesterday, Mr Thompson said the decision to remove Mr Sua was made by USP Council acting secretary Siona Koti, and she did so without consulting him. While explaining the circumstances leading to Mr Sua’s removal, Mr Thompson also called on the USPSA to “tell the truth”. “I was not informed about this decision as it was made by the secretary to the council, whereby she did not consult or inform me,” Mr Thompson said.
