Winston-Salem man injured in drive-by shooting: police

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. One man is in the hospital after being shot in the wrist in Winston-Salem, police said.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Winston-Salem investigators said Kevin Wingate was sitting in his car outside a building on the 700 block of Ferrell Ct. in Winston-Salem when another vehicle pulled up beside him and began shooting at Wingate s vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene, turning left on New Walkertown Rd., WSPD officials said.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. Winston-Salem police say someone shot a man standing on his apartment porch Sunday night.
Officers were called to the apartment building on Bethabara Road around 7:15 p.m.
First responders found 30-year-old Damon Trevor Loyd with a gunshot wound.
Loyd told investigators he was standing on the porch when he heard a gunshot and realized he was shot.
Police say Loyd was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injures.

Prior to officersâ arrival on Baux Mountain Rd., additional information was received indicating the gunshot victim had left the scene and could be located at the Downtown Health Plaza (1200 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.). Officers responded to the Downtown Health Plaza and located the victim, William Antoine Foster/35/M, of 2724 Sink St., Winston-Salem, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face. Mr. Foster was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.  Â
Members of the Criminal Investigations Division and Violent Firearms Investigation Team (VFIT) responded and assumed investigative responsibility for this case. Preliminary investigation indicated that the Mr. Foster was a passenger in a vehicle, driven by a Jessica Kiger (Victim #2), which was stopped in the 4400 block of Baux Mountain Rd.
