The Jewar airport model was displayed in the YEIDA gallery GREATER NOIDA: The Zurich AG subsidiary that will develop Noida International Airport in Jewar has finally initiated the process of signing a couple of mandatory agreements with the Union civil aviation ministry and the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The agreements are likely to be inked in the last week of February after the pending hurdles are cleared by the UP government, TOI has learnt. Officials said that AAI will provide licence to Zurich AG subsidiary Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) only after the signing of communication, navigation and surveillance/air traffic management (CNS/ATM) agreement. On the other hand, the civil aviation ministry is required to give an in-principle nod to YIAPL. The concessionaire pact for the project was signed between Zurich AG and UP in October last year.
