Hungary to Licence-Manufacture Russian Illyushin Il-103 Propeller Aircraft Our Bureau 1713 Illyushin Il-103 Propeller Aircraft Hungarian company Aviation Engineering Zrt will licence-manufacture a modernized version of the the Illyushin Il-103  single-engine propeller aircraft and offer in the European and international market. An agreement was signed today for the modernization and licensed production of the 4-seater piston-engined aircraft, Il-103 between Russia’s Ilyushin and Aviation Engineering Zrt. The modernized IL-103 will be a universal platform, on the basis of which various versions of the aircraft can be produced: training aircraft, aircraft for private use and tourism, medical emergency, transportation of passengers and cargo to hard-to-reach regions, environmental monitoring, patrolling, and agriculture, according a press release from United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) which owns Ilyushin.
