The imported cases included one foreigner and six Vietnamese citizens who recently entered the country from abroad and were quarantined upon arrival, said the ministry. The locally transmitted cases included 73 recorded in northern Vietnam s Hai Duong province and 11 in the northern Quang Ninh province. Among them, two were confirmed in the morning, with one in each province, before 82 of their related contacts were later confirmed to have tested positive for the virus.
