Hanoi (VNA) - Since the sixth-generation (6G) commercial network is expected to be introduced in 2030, Vietnam should launch further research and development work for the 6G wireless network right now, even though it has only recently rolled out
5G services on a trial basis, according to an industry insider.
Associate Professor, Dr
Pham Thanh Giang, from the Institute of Information and Technology at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, said that many countries have joined the race for 6G network development, such as the US, Finland, the Republic of Korea, China, and Japan.

Biologically active compounds from the marine fungus Penicillium dimorphosporum protect cells from paraquat, the highly toxic herbicide with no remedy, and might enhance the action of some drugs. The fungus was isolated from soft coral collected in the South China Sea during an expedition on the Akademik Oparin research vessel. Scientists of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and G. B. Elyakov Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry reported the results in
Marine Drugs.
Paraquat a herbicide compound highly toxic for animals and humans. About a hundred countries, including the United States, apply it for crop cultivation and weed control. Dozens of countries, including Russia, have banned the poisonous compound. The problem of paraquat harm to people is widely known in India. Farmers who work in the fields risk dying because of getting a dangerous dose of the substance.
Power structure balance required
Vietnamâs energy sector has been developing rapidly throughout the last few years, in which renewables show the strongest development. However, the existing imbalance between power generation and transmission threatens the national power supply. As such, relevant government agencies are now tasked with finding sustainable approaches to tackle the situation.

Sometimes when traveling, you come across something so utterly odd that you simply don t know what to make of it.
The word taxidermy is derived from two Greek words,
taxis (arrangement) and
derma (skin), so the literal meaning is arrangement of skin, which sounds like a bad description of the plot of The Silence of the Lambs.
This practice dates back centuries, but it wasn t until the 1800s that it became widely known and more realistic in its representation of animals. An English ornithologist named John Hancock evidently not the same John Hancock who scrawled across the US Declaration of Independence is considered the father of modern taxidermy thanks to his work with birds that he shot.
