Vietnam launches humanitarian month for a safe community
ABO/NDO - The Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRSC) held a ceremony on May 8 to launch the 2021 humanitarian month during which a wide range of activities will take place to make the community safer.
The month takes place from May 1-31 with its peak from May 8-15.
During the month, the VRSC aims to begin construction on 75 flood-proof houses, as well as provide assistance to 150,000 disadvantaged people and 750 families.
