People seeking hotel rooms Monday night in Portland may have to act fast as hotels fill up with people displaced by the winter storm and ensuing power outages.
More than 300,000 homes and businesses in the Portland area were without power Monday afternoon, and there was no clear estimate for when service would be restored.
As of about 5 p.m. the only hotel with rooms available in downtown Portland, the Pearl District and the Lloyd District was the Downtown Value Inn, according to Expedia.
