Drug bust in Muntinlupa (Contributed/PNP)
+ March 09, 2021 OVER P113 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) were seized and seven individuals were arrested in two separate operations in the cities of Muntinlupa and Makati on Monday evening, March 8, 2021.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
A report by the Muntinlupa City Police Office said members of the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug bust at 9:05 p.m. Monday in Barangay Tunasan.
Those arrested were Liezel Julhasan, 40; Donnalyn Julsahan, 21; Denver Porlahe, 19; Sharifa Kuly, 28; and Rovelyn Enot, 40.

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Police in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) have arrested 708 law offenders, including 57 most wanted persons (MWP), in a week-long operation.
Police Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves, Police Regional Office 2 chief, reported to PNP chief Police Gen. Debold Sinas that the suspects were arrested in Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from Feb. 26 to March 4.
Nieves said 171 wanted persons, 57 of whom are listed were MWPs, were arrested. He said 34 persons were arrested in 16 separate operations to enforce forestry laws under Presidential Decree 705.
Nieves said PNP units in the region conducted 23 anti-illegal drugs operations during the period, resulting in the arrest of 29 suspects for violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

De Lima rejects House bill presuming guilt of drug suspects
Opposition Senator Leila M. de Lima has opposed the House of Representatives passage of a bill providing legal presumptions on drug-related offenses which essentially presumes guilt on drug suspects.
