Springhill Hospice gets £1,880 boost from the Masonic Charitable Foundation Date published: 18 December 2020 Springhill Hospice Springhill Hospice has been chosen to receive a grant of £1,880 from The Provincial Grand Lodge of East Lancashire. The grant from comes through the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) who this year are looking to support a number of individual hospices as they work to provide vital care across the UK. The Freemasons are donating £750,000 in total to 203 hospices across England and Wales in 2020. This includes £300,000 which will be distributed between each hospice that receives less than 60 per cent funding from the NHS. A further £450,000 will be provided to individual hospices across England and Wales via Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care.
