Burlington City murder suspect arrested in South Carolina

BURLINGTON CITY The alleged daylight shooter who shot and killed a man and wounded a boy was arrested in South Carolina, police said Friday. Nicholas Wahl, 20, was arrested on May 5 inside the apartment of a relative in Greenville, South Carolina, after fleeing the scene of the shooting here last month. Wahl, of Saint Mary Street, reportedly opened fire on Dysheem Bruton, 27, as he was walking down the block with a 10-year-old boy around 5:30 p.m. April 30. Both Bruton and the child were taken to Virtua Willingboro Hospital, where Bruton was pronounced dead. According to the Burlington County Prosecutor s Office, the child was struck in the left foot.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. - A man was killed and a 10-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Burlington City, authorities said.  It happened on the 400 block of Saint Mary Street around 5:30 p.m. Friday.  According to police, the man was shot while walking along the street by someone who fled on foot toward Route 130. The victim, whose name is being withheld at this time, was pronounced dead after being transported to Virtua Willingboro Hospital, according to authorities.
