A Minnesota man recently shared a heartbreaking story with a Minnesota animal rescue, Midwest Animal Rescue and Services (MARS). The man had recently held his wife in his arms as she passed away. But she had left behind a jar full of coins to be donated to an organization, and he had decided MARS was the place to make the donation.
MARS posted his story on their Facebook page. They said he had sent them an email to let them know he had this donation he wanted to make. He said that after doing research he decided to give her donation jar to MARS because of [their] financial transparency and he is confident the dogs will get the money. The total donation came out to $230.89.
