A Warrior Run man is facing aggravated assault charges after police say he caused a single-vehicle wreck while driving under the influence.
Roberto Carlos Herrera, 32, is accused of crashing on Dundee Cross Road near Loomis Park Road shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.
Police charged Herrera with DUI, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, possessing marijuana and several traffic violations, including illegal passing.
Herrera was also charged with disorderly conduct and harassment stemming from his conduct at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, police said.
Magisterial District Judge James J. Haggerty arraigned Herrera on the charges Tuesday morning and set bail at $10,000.
Herrera was being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility with a preliminary hearing set for Feb. 1.
