Now, the prime mover in the Walker drugs line, which was estimated to have made £90,000 over 81 days in late 2017 and early 2018, has been jailed for almost six years.  Sending Bamir Cukaj to prison for five years and 10 months, Judge Jason Taylor QC said the dealing “left a trail of destruction in its wake”. Swindon Crown Court heard that staff at the Jury’s Inn, in Swindon town centre, grew suspicious after the fresh-faced dealers paid for the room in cash in December 2017, and called police.

Men arrested in Southwick after puppies and dogs stolen

Men arrested in Wiltshire after puppy thefts Three men have been arrested in Wiltshire following the shocking theft of five puppies and two dogs. Officers and staff from Wiltshire Police’s Operation Fortitude team worked in conjunction with Avon and Somerset Police after the animals were stolen from a property in Bristol last night (January 27) Fortitude officers attended a location in Southwick, near Trowbridge, and arrested three man aged 18, 48 and 51 on suspicion of theft. The trio are currently in custody at Melksham Police Station. A total of 12 dogs, including the ones stolen from Bristol and five others also believed to have been stolen, were seized, along with a number of weapons and two vehicles.
