Syracuse, N.Y. When police officers arrived on Hatch Street on a warm spring morning, they found a man stabbed, dying in the street.
They saw an open door to a nearby house and inside they found a second man who had been stabbed. He was dead. Nearby they found a knife in a stairwell.
What happened was not immediately clear. Had someone killed two men and gotten away? Did something else happen?
Syracuse police investigators have been able to determine that the two men had an argument and killed each other, possibly using the same knife, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick told Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard recently.
